this is absolutely insane that the GC version of the game isn't being brought forwards to the wii-u store, especially given that Nintendo still use similar architecture in their systems today I can't imagine this would have taken much work to port over. Only thing I could think of is maybe Namco/Nintendo are in talks regarding licensing Link again for the re-release which Nintendo might want to shy away from having link in 2 fighting games for their system to compete against each other and draw away from their Killer App in smash bros.?
