LOL you just keep on going with this BS. Here is a breakdown of the order of current gen consoles my friends and I have bought in the order they bought them: A: PS3 B: PS3 C: PS3 D: 360,PS3 E: Wii,360,PS3 F: 360,PS3 G: 360 H:360 I: 360,PS3 J: 360 So then think about it. Nobody who started with a PS3 got anything else, everyone (Only one in this example but you get the idea) who go a Wii got a 360 or PS3, and 4/7 people who got a 360 got a PS3 later. It seems to me one console makes more people satisfied long term. This is also backed up by the fact that the PS3 passed 360 in sales and continues to dominate them week by week. A lot of people ran out of games to play on 360 and wanted something they couldn't get elseware... |
So this is what it's come to? Your friends?!?
Based on your scientific study of friends that represent the real world, I would assume taht the PS3 and 360 have tied for the lead (7 to 7) and the Wii was the worst selling console on the market.
Or maybe the 360 guys that bought PS3's later are "true gamers" that didn't care which console they gamed on because they just want to play everything.
Or maybe the friends that only owned PS3's are loyal to Sony and your 360 friends were PS2 owners that switched.
Or maybe they're just random people that don't represent anything other than the people you associate yourself with and don't represent any type of majority at all. I mean their buying habits could be twisted any number of ways, right?
You could probably ask any number of people on this site to find out which consoles their friends own and we would get any number of responses because the truth is that, to many gamers, neither console's library is that big of a deal as long as they get their Call of Duty/Madden/Grand Theft Auto fix.
