She has life experience and common sense, but she was born after the apocalypse. Shes disorderly, truthful, untrusting of most. Makes a whole lot of sense. That and the girl is a tomboy. Ever heard of one of those? She knows nothing of what the world was before the apocalypse, which is why Joel has to teach her. Im not going to spoil the game for others but Joel is the teacher/unwilling parent.
