My opinion is that it while not as good as Tekken 6, it is better than Tag 2 because it hasn't really got the bound and juggling mechanic. Sure people do it but less so that before. The extra feature (the shadow moves? not sure what they are actually called) are cool and all but different characters get different advantages from them which is frustrating. Again the game is going down to who you pick as a character. 8/10 I am fighting either Law or Kazuya and of those using Kazuya, most are Devil eye lazer spammers. Asuka still has her counter move so that bad as well.
My character of choice in the series is Lee Chaolan and he's nowhere to be seen. While I can play with all others, I'm learning Leo properly and he translates better in this game than in Tekken 6 or Tag 2. Like I think Dragunov was better in Tekken 6 than he was in Tekken 5 DR.
This all said, it's free and I haven't spent a penny on it, so don't really mind eitherway.
