I see where ur coming from but I think early 2012 was still riding on the success of price cut+3D Land+Mario Kart also first half of 2012 had a decent line up of Iits own, Kid Icarus, Revelations, 2012 Olympics, Mario Tennis
Early 2013 had a similar line up quality wise but it holiday 2012 only had Paper Mario so that could be part of the reason why the beginning of this year was down.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
