Very true. I'm guessing they are definitely dropping it later this year during the holidays. MS has had a $199 SKU for quite some time, but I'm sure they could afford to drop it to $149. Sony should have it drop to $199 later this year. I guess they both have just been focusing on profits over marketshare. Though, I suppose Sony doesn't need to worry about marketshare now that they are #2. Heck, they did the unthinkable and rose the price of the PS3 by $20, though they do throw in a game to justify it.
