I still think ps3 is in good shape globally, for a console in its 7th year, but i wanted ps3 to surpass x360 in usa at least one more time until next gen arrived.... but, we don't have to worry.......... ps4 is coming to save playstation nation in usa, and is coming very soon.

Well, if there is a cut to $199, it may very well pass it for a month or two. Of course, I expect the 360, as well as MS's support for it, to drop faster than the PS3 once the new consoles arrive. So, I think we'll get quite a few months of the PS3 outselling the 360 in about a year.
As far as next gen goes, I fully expect the PS4 to win NA, even if it's only by a few million. That, plus the advantage in pretty much every other region, should give the PS4 a pretty nice gap over the One when all is said and done.
