As for Blackberry, i really think they've had it. The reason they used to be so strong was their Business market. After the iphone came out, it basically destroyed the reason for having blackberry for business (I think the way data charges were done was also a factor).
As for Sales of smart phones, and if they are good, and if Sony are good or bad if they have the same as Nokia. I don't follow phone sales numbers.. don't really care much for it, but I guess if either Nokia/Sony's Smart Phones are selling more than they did before then that is a good measure of success. All companies care about are sales, and increasing them and their market share, just like how Tesco are upset when they have made £1 billion in profit but have only increased sales by 1%.... businesses eh!
