Technically, it will depend on if the Bayonetta IP is still controlled by Sega like some people say or if it is controlled by Platinum Games. If it is Platinum then Bayonetta 3 will depend on if they can get another publisher, if it is by Sega they may publish another game but it will have to do a lot better then the original game which honestly wasn't bad for a brand new action IP without a major marketing push. But it wasn't enough for Sega to fund a sequel... but maybe we can blame Aliens: Colonial Marines on that.
