Quick Question - Why do people think Paper Mario: Sticker Star is terrible?

I quite liked it...wasn't awesome but a decent game that gave me something to do while chilling overseas...but I'm not a hardcore rpg fan...I probably preferred what I've played of other paper mario games and (for the ds and 3ds) the Mario and Luigi series.
