So jsut because you earn X you have to pay additional levys to fund say the public medical system. On top of that if you don't get private health you have to pay a further levy. Why do I have to be forced to get private health? Why don't I get a choice If I want the public system if I am already paying more taxes and extra levys? I think it really depends how they make and spend the money.
I think people working of the money, is quite different from others living off inheritance or something they haven't worked for.
Currently, the USA is severely stacked to the benefit of non-worker types.
