I feel Nintendo should have expanded the local multiplayer in this game. A battle mode is well and good, but the Wii U's dual screens are positively begging for local co-op gameplay.
I suppose there's the possibility that Nintendo could release it as DLC later, but it's something the game ought to have from the start, IMO.
