My one issue with the "exclusives" argument

If something is on more than one system, it's not an exclusive. It's as simple as that.

That makes no sense because A real Xbox gamer only views PS as its one rival.

This isn't about exclusives, its about comparing what one has and the other doesnt

Pretty sure a real Xbox gamer is someone who games on Xbox. Has nothing to do with having this apparent vendetta against Playstation.

Your way of thinking only works in a vacuum where Xbox and Playstation are the only platforms available. The reality is that the vast majority of people living in indutrialized nations own PC's. You're ignoring that for the sake of convenience.

Trying to determine the best console for someone bwteen the PS3 and 360, like the OP's example, is nonsensical without acknowledging the very likely possibility that they already own other gaming platforms. Your way of thinking seems nice theoretically, but has very little in the way of real-world applications.
