Just think, if the WiiU sales are this poor, wait til the XBone is out 6 months and the core gaming community are still shunning it. Maybe a $100 price cut for the first cut for XBone.

I'm sure Xbox One will sell much better than WiiU in the UK, even without a price cut

Selling better than the WiiU in the UK doesn't amount to much.  They need to sell at the rate of the 360 or better or they will have to make hard decisions.  Hardware lifecycles are much shorter nowadays.  There is a new version of the Ipad and Kindle Fire every 9-12 months.  This generation WILL NOT be 7-10 years, it will probably be more like 4-6 years at best.  So, they need to sell reight away to have a chance to get market share.  The only areas where olderr systems sell is emerging markets, an area that M$ sucks at.

Strange statement when weve just come off the back of the longest generation yet. Hardware iteration of phones and computers have always outpaced console, just because Apple started numbering them so people can keep count doesnt mean were seeing anything new. i personally think theres a good chance this is the last console cycle anyway for Sony and MS, theyve both gone x86 now to help them transition to a service based platform in the future, just no money in hardware anymore.
