This is strange news considering that Dark Souls is a Japanese made game, made for no particular audience. I suppose that explains why its so popular here in the west.
I suppose the terminology 'Eastern' gamers might radically change soon if China removes their restriction on video games. It will be interesting to see if the Chinese demographic have the same tastes as Japanese gamers.
