It counters your point because:
A. White people and black people both run afoul of this stupid mandatory minimum law.
B. It is statistically very, very likely her estranged husband is also black. Why would such a racist system care if a black person fires a warning shot at another black person? Were they punishing her for not shooting him?
C. Both cases were examined by juries who had far more information than you do.
D. You had no point to begin with.
