Pretend you are being wrestled to the ground by a full grown man, lying defenseless on your back in the grass while being punched in your face and getting your backhead smacked into the ground.
You wouldn't grab your gun and try to shoot? You would just lie there helplessly and wait until you were punched into unconsciousness?
