i've played Bioshock and TLOU has a much greater chance imho, even though Bioshock was quite impressive. GTA V crept up behind us with the gameplay. Never knew a open world game could be that deep in gameplay advantages. Seems like its going to be a long and deep game with a wide variety of alternatives. You have your spectrum of alternatives, your personalities, and the vast world thats multiple times the size of San Andreas. Makes me want to get Red Dead Redemption and go to work. Heh

Red Dead didn't really appeal to me either, Rockstar's whole gamemaking style is a bit at odds with what makes me tick.

Loved the first Bioshock though, loved the hell out of it. Still one of my top games of the gen. I really should have played Infinite already, but I'm saving it for when I move into my new place. (Finished University, leaving campus)

I'll say this much, unless games like Infinite, TLOU, Batman, DKC, etc somehow fall far short of their predecessors, 2013's gonna be a waaaay better year for games than last year.

I don't know if DKC or Batman will make the list. Rocksteady isn't making the next Batman game and without the Joker it doesn't seem as nice, but deathstroke is one of my favorite assassins in DC, so I'll be keeping and eye on it. He's not as interesting as deadpool, but he's deadlier than Marvels bullseye. I enjoyed the last DK game but it never made GOTY in its year (2011, correct?)

Red Dead is very fun, it just takes time getting used to all of that world and gameplay that is at your disposal. I never got to finish it, but I still have my save on my PS3 so I can pick up where I left off. The Zombie DLC needs to be purchased as well.
