Nintendo announce big games with like 6-9 months to go to release all the time, they could very easily anounce several 2014 games they haven't yet.

this is false, there might be a rare exception, but nintendo anounces games and they usually come out a year and a half later.

Happens all the time; Donkey Kong Country Returns, Tropical Freeze, Kirby's Epic Yarn, Kirby's Return to Dreamland, New Super Mario Bro Wii...

those are not exactly big games, they are 2d games, very easy to make, compared to a 3d zelda, mario galaxy, i'm talking about game that push the hardware, like mario galaxy, zelda, those games will always be anounced at E3 and come out next year's holiday. i'm talking about big budhet games.
