I used to like Major Nelson to tell you the truth, he used to lightly cover things but I guess thats his "personality" for the camera. Now I dont think he's that personable unless a fan is kissing Microsofts ass. Joe was a pro-360 gamer but was very, very concerned for MIcrosoft and was treated like he had zero common sense when in the end everything turned out exactly how he said it would. PR is one thing, being a dick and a hypocrite is another and he did not help Microsofts PR. PR guys don't have to comment.
DRM in the tech world is a light area to tread upon unless like the casuals you just accept it because you don't know any better, which is what Yusuf at MS was alluding to when he basically was talking about disregarding the gamers and focusing on the wider audience. In any area of where people are educated about a profession or hobby they will protect their right to that passtime. We've seen how PC gaming turned out and there is no Valve to look out for our best interests on consoles. As I said both MS and Sony support DRM outside of the gaming industry and so does Apple and they've implemented it as such outside. You have to go mostly digital before you can take away peoples rights and thats a discussion they need to have with gamers on consoles because console gamers will not accept codes because it negates resale. Maybe ten to fifteen years from now, but we still need a differentiating buffer between ourselves and PC gaming.

I watched that video when it was just released. Man, after the DRM was removed, I felt so bad for Joe because MN trated him like shit during the interview when he asked that.

Yeah, Joe goes to E3 to have more content for his show. He tells everyone before hand if that hes not a professional and he hasn't taken classes on how to have back andd forth interviews with professionals. Geoff Keighley was a real dick when dealing with him too. Major Nelson wasn't anywhere as bad as Geoff. He's independent and actually gets hundreds of thousands of views. Even gametrailers gets less views than him most of the time. Some respect needs to be given. Its almost like you have to be affiliated with an IGN or a Gametrailers to get some respect.
