so of one billion users or so, how many are on the support page with problems? and i'm talking about real problems and not "how do i download a driver"

it's not as if some people don't have problems with their console from time to time (ps3's last update problems as example)

It's different... PC in nature is not stable due the different combinations of hardware/software you have... I mean you can change everything in PC and that's make it instable.

One game/software runs ok in your system but not in mine because these differences.

A closed consoles is stable because all games/software will run in the same way in all consoles.

sure you can change everything and that makes it instable but people who do that should have a clue and will also know that and how to handle those problems.

if you only overclock little bit, buy maybe a new gpu every few years and stuff like that there won't be really much you have to worry about. seriously, i play on pc for over 20 years now and i never had a huge problem. yes, sometimes i had a problem and it took a hour or so to fix it but i'm talking about 20+ years.

for those who change their rig every few weeks it's obviously something else but most of them shouldn't really be surprised and should also not really care about that.
