Bioshock could be seen as on par, but that's really mostly through the gameplay. Also, TLoU does look at least on par with UC3. Not surprised that you'd make this thread, though. |
First Bioshock is one of best environmental storytelling games in last 15 years, which is order of magnitude harder to make properly than usual cinematic approach. Honestly, considering how much that game improved old, worn-out FPS genre, I would consider it much more important than anything else that came since, even though, subjectively, there are games I enjoyed more.
