I agree on what you said, mostly.
Insecurity has always been an issue as I said for Mexico, but it's not like you get kidnapped every weekend after work, i've never suffered any kind of violence in my entire life and I live in the biggest city in the country.
And well yes, we are not a middle class country, we are probably an upper mid one.
Besides that yes, the rents are expensive on the city and you will find out that it is the same in every single global city in the world (try to live in tokyo for example). And it's such a shame that El Gato Morris didn't win in Veracruz...
