if you mean console games I'm not sure, but if you look at world of warcraft you can pretty much start playing that now using the streaming client after maybe... 20 mb of the 30gb of game have downloaded, just that the areas load up around you as you run about. You wouldn't want to wander into any pvp areas since different player models and armor models all need to be gotten and loaded seperately so you're likely to be killed by a shadow hah.
