Gamestop forced by demand caps PS4 preorders

Do you think Gamestop would halt preorders of the PS4 if the preorders were at 100,000?

My GameStop, alone, had about 156. Manager told me it's their highest ever for console pre-orders. 

My guess would be in the hundreds of thousands as well, but i would think once they hit a million they would cap the preorders.  I wouldn't dare preorder my PS4 from Best Buy, thats going to be hell first day because they can hold more PS4's than Gamestop.
