For those asking: The update is supposed to improve overall OS speed again. The spring update improved the loading times when getting back to the main menu. This update will make apps start faster. Not sure what else it's supposed to do.
Didn't the spring update include the Virtual Console? If so, I hope the summer update gives us access to Gamecube and Nintendo 64 games. I really want to play Chibi Robo and Eternal Darkness (and I'd gladly replay Resident Evil 1 and Zero, Super Mario Sunshine and F-Zero GX.)
Oh and I'm still waiting for Amazon's Lovefilm app to finally work! That damn app has been right there in the home menu since launch!
