I couldn't care less about ps2, this is about wii u and i can't stand this lie that it isn't much beyond what ps360 can do.

you mentioned RAM, well, devs did nothing but praise wii u's RAM. i guess that when you factor the memory that already has less latency and add the edram the actual performance is much more than 4x the ps360. and you can't exactly estimate the gflops difference when you don't know the number of flops of wii u.

AND there's the factor you always forget that's the modern technology and tools. ps360 are stuck with dx 9, shader model 3.0 and stuff like that while all the most recent version of those are common between wii u/ps4/xone. the difference lies in raw power alone and my estimate would be wii u x 2 = xone, xone x 1.5 = ps4. with the dev tools being the same between the 3 and engines getting more scalable than ever, that is not a big difference.

If you couldn't care less about the purpose of my original post, then why respond? So you can argue with me about something completely irrelevant?

I can't estimate the difference in GPU performance? But you can estimate the overall difference in performance between the 8th gen consoles? Your hypocrisy is just getting silly dude. I'm just going off of approximated numbers that people who have looked at the hardware have given. Nobody is saying there isn't a notable difference between the Wii U and PS360. In fact, I explicitly stated that there was like 2 posts ago. The point was that in comparison to other consoles' differences in power to their previous gen's systems, the difference between the Wii U and the seventh gen consoles definitely seems to be smaller.

You're beating the dead horse there mate, some people are just beyond reason, basing their "arguments" on their blind loyalty to company of their choice, complete lack of knowledge of all things hardware and their beliefs that Nintendo has some futuristic super-tech that can can squeeze some miraculous performance out of such a small silicon with low TDP, contrary to all evidence pointing to opposite.

Anyway, this is educated guesstimate how current and next-gen console compare, performance wise, based on what is known up till now - SuperWii is fictional console with performance similar to what early WiiU rumors suggested (HD4850), which, unfortunately, turned out to be false.
