Are people just being too hard on the wii u?(spec and sales wise)

You are justified. The Wii U might be a bit more powerful than Ps3 or 360, but its not the huge leap like the Ps4 or even the Xbox one is. Because of that i think most devs dont even want to bother with it. I'll wait until Nintendo gets their stuff together before i judge further.
