LOL 7th gen consoles had 512mb of RAM. Does Wii U? SO having 4 times the RAM is meaningless? SO PS4 having 4 times more RAM than Wii U is also meaningless and puts them in the same generation. See what happens when you let ignorance and bias make choices for you, you just trashed your own favorite console and are coming up with reasons it isn't an 8th generation console. Great job Sony fans but I expect nothing less from you guys than bias BS.
I remember when clock speed was used as an example of why Wii U was inferior and not next gen.. Whats the clock cycle of PS4 again? Yeah lower than that of PS3 so its not next gen.
I also recall the point that because the same games were on last gen consoles Wii U wasn't next gen. Now that we apply that same logic to PS4, we see it isn't next gen either.
Some people really don't use any common sense when thinking their BS up. Power wise PS2 was the same gen as PS1 and PS1 is now a SNes era console using your own logic. Oh and PS4 is now a 7th generation console. Its too inferior to PC to even be considered next gen.

I love how PS3 was so advanced and ahead of its time but another company could have easily released a superior console that beat it in every way. Oh and 3 years before the same type of CPU/GPU combos were even being made. Claiming a company could release tech before its even invented or it isn't next gen is just laughable.
Also kids PS2 was the weakest console of its generation. RE4 proved that.
8gb of DDR5 = last gen especially when I have 5 of it in my PC along with 16 more. PS4 is as inferior to my PC as Wii U is to PS4 so another fact proving PS4 isn't next gen.. Thanks for making your own console look bad and proving its not next gen with inferior specs, late PC ports, and games on last gen consoles.
