no you misunderstand, what EA was referring to is internet traffic, which they would be right in this instance. COD for WIi U has less than 1000 players weekly, 1000 that is pitiful for the most popular online game outside of WoW. YOu cant even find matches sometimes and that is not a EA game

No, you misunderstand.  He spoke about traffic but then for personal reasons seque'd into saying it's a box that's out of sync and not social.  That's not ture.  Also, COD has way over 1000 players online all the time, let alone in the run of a week.  You are quite simply wrong with that stat.

How many do you think are online now, or recently on average?

I'll boot the game up when I get home from work and let you know.  I haven't played it as much lately, but when I was playing it regularily in Jan-March it was usually about 3000+ online at once.  I played it last week and matchmaking was instant.  I think stats show that over 75% of Wii U's are online.  Miiverse is a very busy message board.  I think the owners of the system are into online, there just aren't many owners.

Correct on all points. There are 2,856 online on Black Ops II right now, at 3:30 p.m. EDT on a weekday. Can get a match in every core mode, 4/6 objective, hardcore TDM (most times KC as well), even 4/4 party modes. I don't play many evenings but I've seen it over 5,000. You can jump in tonight if he needs an actual number then.

PS4/Xbox1 better sell very quickly. Companies don't seem to understand that people actually have to own 200+ million systems like last generation in order for their sales targets to be possible.
