Your optimism for the system is truly amazing. Sales spiked this week in Japan, but could likely half come next week. In addition, sales outside of Japan are poor, and the system risked dropping below 10k mere months after its price cut.
Japan is just about keeping the system ahead of the Wii U, but come October, and even earlier when MH4 launches, it'll all be over for the system. Which is a shame, because I like mine.
