Yeah, the response they got was beyond disappointing. Sad, because they were on fire at the time.
So I doubt we'll see them go all out like that ever again. But who knows? Microsoft Games Studio Osaka is supposed to be working on a big JRPG, so maybe we'll get a first look at it at TGS. And maybe that means they haven't given up on Japan altogether.
