Wow, I disagree with this part completely. Consoles last a long time so that extra power that isn't going to be utilized right now, will be later on when the gen starts to add up in years. Not to mention games that are designed for the pc already have higher specs then next gen. Having specs as close as it can get while still affording consumers an affordable route to gaming is good. Consoles aren't meant to outdo pc's, but they are easier to maintain and just use. The xbox one and ps4 aren't overpowered, the wii u is simply underpowered.
