Zelda A Link Between Worlds Is Inspired By Super Mario 3D Land

I thought they meant how it's almost like a mix between old and new style. 3D Land was between 2D and full 3D Mario. This seems like it's the same deal, and the DS Zeldas were like that too, sort of.
