Question for developers, I know they don't post on VGChartz but hey, whatever. So, if you had a huge war with soldiers and swords, shields, etc. (IF YOU WERE A GOOD COMMANDER!)would you send peasants out to the front line first or your strongest soldiers? I would send my strongest soldiers so my weak ones wouldn't get battered.
This same principle applies to this situation as well. Nintendo should have warned developers, actually developers should have known that Nintendo consoles don't sell without Nintendo software. They should wait and send out their strong soldiers, 3D Mario, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros. which will all be out by next year and then 3rd parties will have a better chance at success and profit because of the increased install base that the games I mentioned above will create.
