Yoshiaki Koizumi has been involved in some of Nintendo's finest games of all time. In my opinion he is perhaps Nintendo (even the industry?)'s brightest star. Unlike many at Nintendo, he has a great grasp of story, haven written the background of games dating back to A Link to the Past. He is also perhaps even better than Myiamoto when it comes to game mechanics, having developed Z-targeting, Majora's Mask's 3-day cycle, planet jumping in Galaxy and so on. He has played a major role on Nintendo's highest rated games including OoT, MM and SMGalaxy.
He is currently producer on SM3DW, but he did reveal recently that he is working on another game, one that the rest of the 3DWorld team is not. What do you think it is? What do you hope it is?
Personally I think this guy should be working on Zelda. I think he would do much better work as the Zelda head than Aonuma. He obviously isn't, however, so I think he is working on a new IP of his own vision. You?
