Several publishers game Wii U initial support. But there are 3 factors that need to be looked at since launch.

1. Launch titles are almost always set up for losses. They are released to begin the establishment of a consumer base for later titles.

2. The Wii U was absolutely flooded with titles at launch. The sales volume per title was going to be low strictly due to the volume of titles released.

3. They never kept up the pace. Once they released their launch titles, they quit releasing titles. How in the hell do you ever expect to establish a consumer base like that?

So to sum up, 3rd parties started great but flooded the market which diluted sales for what would already be expected to be low sales and then flat out quit. And now they are demanding that Nintendo do what they (3rd parties) should have done in the first place...establish a consumer base.

What they don't get is that if you establish a "Nintendo" consumer base, you aren't really establishing a "CoD" consumer base or a "Battlefield" consumer base. You have to do that for yourself. And you do that by treating the consumer with the same respect and consideration that you give to other consoles. Otherwise, Nintendo is going to establish their consumer base and you're going to be left blaming Nintendo consumers for not buying your games...whenever the hell you actually decide to release one.
