Yes :D ! Lost Odyssey and Tales of Vesperia both look great on the other hand: Graces F and Xilia+Xilia2 are coming to the PS3... hmmm ... |
Well, can you have too much Tales of...?
Plus, if you're really consciencous about cost, think about it this way. Tales of Vesperia is what 30 Euro? Xilla is 50 Euro new right (I'm estimating, I'm from Canada, so I dunno how much games costs). Buy ToV now, wait for Xillia to come down to 30 Euro, and theres 20 Euro you just shaved off the cost of a 360.
Lost Odyssey is by far the best JRPG this gen IMO.
Plus 360 has other gems. Project Sylpheed got terrible reviews, but mostly because it's short. It's a 9/10 JRPG, but it's only 4-5 hours long. Still worth 5-10Euro, for sure.
Infinite Undiscovery also got a lot of ridicule, but it's about as good as Star Ocean.
It really depends though, it's only a handful of quality of exclusives that you're missing out on. I mean you own a Wii, would you have been able to go on fine without XenoBlade, The Last Story, and Pandora's Tower? If yes, then that's the experience you'll miss out on with a 360.

Also you said you're not interested in Gears of War and dislike shooters in general, but like Metroid Prime, FallOut and Half-Life. I have a similar taste in shooters as you, those 3 are also among my favorites (except Metroid Prime is my #1 and Gears is #2).
Gears of War 1 is probably the most melancholy shooter I have ever played, and the Gears of War Triple Pack (Gears 1, 2, and DLC) is really cheap here in Canada. It's one of the few post apocolyptic shooters which really give you that feeling of despiration. It's almost as intense as the feeling of being alone in Metroid Prime. It's worth maybe 15 Euro's just to give it a shot.
