Ya but think of it this way, they advertise the hell out of it during the drought, people get interested and then find out there isnt any big new games coming for 3-4 months, they now are uninterested in the Wii U and wont consider getting it again. Or they can wait to advertise it when there is actually a reason to own it and people wont regret there purchase

So it is waiting game until the bigger titles come up. There will be no excuse when december comes :P


Finally sense...I think even Nintendo are (surprisingly) aware that they fucked up the wii u's launch timing but know they can't do anything about it now until the games are ready. I would assume their plan is to start a more aggressive advertising campaign leading up to the end of year/ game releases etc when they actually have something to sell...hope to gain some momentum then.
