besides they can use what they have. They had a mario game at launch and lego is fairly popular - there is no excuse for not pushing these titles along with others.

Ya but think of it this way, they advertise the hell out of it during the drought, people get interested and then find out there isnt any big new games coming for 3-4 months, they now are uninterested in the Wii U and wont consider getting it again. Or they can wait to advertise it when there is actually a reason to own it and people wont regret there purchase 

i see your point. 

So it is waiting game until the bigger titles come up. There will be no excuse when december comes :P

I may just be making this up but I think Iwata stated they would have a new marketing campaign starting when Pikmin 3 launches In August, I wpuld have to assume that will continue throughout the holiday season when the bigger titles start coming.



They've already got Pikmin 3 commercials going in Japan so this sounds legit.
