Using the Hour Population (http://halocharts.com/2012/chart/totalpopulation/all) I created this graph.

This gaph show a number bigger than Unique Users to make the comparision "fair" to Halo 4... Week 151 was mid april.

Now the Unique Users for Reach in the same time period.

And why not Halo 3... for May 2008 because I don't have April 2008.

You're comparing daily peak numbers to daily users.

 

Nobody is denying Halo muliplayer is less popular as it was years ago. But you said its dead and that's incorrect.

Didn't Uncharted 3 multiplayer go F2P? Now that's dead multiplayer.
