Do you doubt that it will with all the major publishers are going to be targeting PS4 and Xbone going forward while even traditional Nintendo backers like Ubi are saying they will support the Wii U "if it makes sense"? I don't see how it's even in question.
Sony still has Gamescom and TGS to announce more launch titles, but even if they don't, it's not about getting people to upgrade immediately. It's about the fact that PS4 will be literally drowning in third party support for years to come in the same way that the Vita wasn't and the Wii U won't be. Nintendo is going to have to make all of its own breaks to stage any sort of turn around for the Wii U, while Sony is going to be the recepient of tons of games no matter what they do.
