Both games were created by Tetsuya Takahashi. who left Square Soft (Xenogears) to become a founder of Monolith Soft (Xenosaga, Xenoblade)

I know Xenosage have relation with Xenogers... but Xenoblade too? I mean... storyline.

Officially, no. But you can connect the dots if you want. Xenosaga is episodes 1 to 3. Xenogears is episode 5 and mentions what was probably episode 4.

From the ending of episode 3 i understood the team wanted to delve into the creations of the universe. Unsurprisingly it seemed to have been the theme of Xenoblade, even though i never played it.

The saga was supposed to span 6 episodes. And from what i gather Xenoblade wasnt originally part of it. But, maybe someone who played it can shed light on this. I dont see how Xenoblade can be episode 4 though, since xenogears starts in the basis of an already established universe.

Xenogears is the fifth game in the Xenogears series if it actually went on to be a series.

When they created Xenosaga, they wanted to start from scratch and include a story that resembeled Xenogears in the middle, then have a couple episodes after that.  So Xenosaga should have actually only been two games.  It's clear they had no idea what they wanted to do after finishing the first game so most of the second game being about the past and back story of characters like Jin and Jr, they really failied to actually push the storyline along anywhere really.  It's pretty obvious they screwed up with the second one and they had to create a third one once again with the same characters, create what they probably never planned, and put the series to a close.  Creating an extra game though, the next episode would have been prior to the similarity they wanted with Xenogears, and then the fifth one would have actually been the Xenogears like remake, but they would have made a six and seventh to end it instead of just six.  More if they pulled another colossal f*** up like they did with Xenosaga 2.
