For a while in May it was close to someone was being murdered once a week for being gay.  Makes you wonder where it's coming from.

That's really disconcerting when you consider violent crime and homicide as a whole have been down.

I think it's a reaction to the civil rights improvements.  It happens for a while.

Then it goes to lower than before.
