You are right, they said that FB2 didn't run well on the Wii U, so they didn't bother with FB3. I don't really believe that though because at E3 2011, John Riccochello (I know it's not spelled right) teased Battlefield for the Wii U, and they showed footage of BF3, which runs FB2. Why would they do that if it was never possible on the WIi U?
