I know I'll be lynched for this but... I'm having more fun playing Resident Evil 6 than The Last of Us.

You're unlikely to come out of it smiling for anything other than releif, but it is so ridiculously immersive you barely notice...

You have to think of it as the Wire vs a comedy. The Wire is a better TV series probably, but won't be the right thing to cheer you up after a long day. {I am not claiming the Last of Us is on the same level as the Wire, just of that gritty style}
