@OP: If you have PC games a few years old in your backlog (or in your shoplist), play them first on your current PC, it should be good enough for them, except the most power-hungry graphics whore-fests, and delay the upgrade, that you'll need to play some recent games at high settings.
I have a PC far slower than yours (onboard HD3300 graphics, just to say), but several times faster than my previous one, and I'll really need to upgrade it when I'll start playing the most recent games in my backlog.
