After stepping away from E3 are you disappointed with Mario 3D World?

Not really possible, I think. Even Sunshine, which to me was the "worst" Mario game, was still a good game. It just wasn't what I wanted in a Mario title. But a bad game? Not at all. I don't think Nintendo would ever make a BAD Mario game. In general, they don't tend to make much of BAD anything.

Super Mario Sunshine was the worst for me, too (I didn't even bother to finish it). Messing around in Delfino Plaza was far more enjoyable for me than actually making progress, and I'm not sure if I should praise or criticize the game for that. Other 3D Mario games always made me want to jump straight into the next level, because the meat tasted better than the bun. Good game regardless.
