Bullshit. You can change the text and ringtone by going to ringtone settings. He certainly didn't buy a Lumia 920 because I have the exact phone and I have over 20 text tone options, voice mail tone options, email tone options, and as many ringtone options as possible. Download the myxer app and you get as many ringtones as you want and don't have to convert any files.

I purchase a Nokia 928 and so far I really like the phone.  Being able to pin stuff to your home screen that update information is above what the other OS systems do.  Case in point.  There is a Mall up the street where I live that has movie theater, restaurants etc.  I pinned the mall to my phone which automatically allows easily find all of the places within the mall, including showing me the movie times for shows and a host of other info.

I like the fact I can look at things at a glance instead of a notification bar I have to drag down for stuff.  I did experience the ringtone situation where I had to download an app to get some custom music but then again it took seconds and integrated pretty easy so no real complaints.  The OS is really snappy and pretty much everything launches in seconds.  Nokia own apps are pretty solid like their maps which I would put above Google.  Things like Nokia music which is something IOS is now getting and even Google is there and if you have a sub for Zune music like I do, well it’s a no brainer.
