You should get a Wii. The console is dirt cheap now (I've seen it available on Amazon for less than $40) and there are tons of great games on it, likely new for you since you seemed to have been a Ps360 guy this gen. Try out the Zelda games, Smash Bros, both Mario Galaxies, and I heard great things about Xenoblade Chronicles. Also it plays gamecube games so you'd be getting two consoles for like 40 bucks, which is insane.

I thought about it, but I thought the Wii U was backward compatible, but I never knew the Wii was Gamecube compatible, I have a shit ton of old GC games...I might have to consider it now, thanks for the suggestion!

Just remember that not every Wii is GCN compatible. They unfortunately cut it out at some point, so you have to buy an old used one.

Apart from that I can also recommend a Vita. I love my Vita, don't believe people saying it haz no gaemz! It has more games than I'm capable of playing! Also PS+ is so worth it when you have more than one Sony console.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.
